Day by Day Itinerary
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey or explore the vibrant city at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner as your guide briefs you about the exciting adventure ahead.

After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenya’s arid north. This reserve is renowned for its unique wildlife species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon
game drive through the rugged, semi-arid terrain. The Ewaso Ng’iro River provides a lifeline to the wildlife, and predators like lions and leopards are frequently spotted along its banks.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu on morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the interplay of wildlife and the harsh environment, as animals like gerenuks stand on hind legs to reach leaves, and elephants traverse the dusty plains. During the midday heat, relax at your camp, soaking in the incredible views. You may also opt to visit a Samburu village to learn about the local culture and traditions.

This morning, depart for Sweetwaters Conservancy, located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch and then visit the famous chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also see the last two remaining northern white rhinos, a poignant reminder of the importance of conservation. Enjoy an evening game drive before returning to your luxurious tented camp.

After breakfast, drive south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famed for its large herds of elephants and offers magnificent views of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. As the sun sets, witness the park’s iconic scenery in golden hues.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. In the early hours, watch elephants traverse the open plains with Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak in the background. Cross the border at Namanga into Tanzania and proceed to Arusha. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush landscapes as you transition to the Tanzanian leg of your safari. Arrive at your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, where you’ll have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats and spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, and buffalo.

Today, delve deeper into Tarangire with morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s varied landscapes—from river valleys to open plains—offer a dynamic safari experience. You can also opt for a walking safari or visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural encounter.

After breakfast, transfer to an authentic local Maasai village to observe as members of the community go about their morning rituals. Then proceed to local school called Lucas Mhina primary school to find out what a typical school day is like in Tanzania. We'll interact with teachers and students and sit in on classes. Best of all...we won't have any tests or homework! Then proceed to Mto wa Mbu. During your walk through the village, you will be able to observe the way of life in this rural community and enjoy lunch prepared by a local family with an explanation of the different culinary delights and how they are made, After Lunch depart to Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight.

Today after breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater-World Heritage Site and often called the 8th Wonder of the World for the morning game drive, among one of the most unique concentrations of wildlife on earth. Vast grasslands cover most of the crater floor and provide ample grazing for resident zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, elephants, warthogs, and rhinos. With a large number of prey species contained within the crater, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro is also home to a dense population of lions. During your game drive you will enjoy a picnic lunch then in the afternoon drive back to the lodge in time for sunset

Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Track the movements of the Great Migration (seasonal) or search for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Relax at the lodge during the midday heat, enjoying sweeping views of the plains.

Take a morning flight from Serengeti to Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you can enjoy a day room at a local lodge for rest and refreshments. Your guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
