Arusha hotel pick-up on Day 1

Your guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to Arusha, where you will spend the first night of your 9-day wildebeest migration safari in northern Tanzania.
You will drive through Arusha town and enjoy the views on your way to Tulia boutique hotel and spa for dinner and overnight.

Drive to Tarangire on day two.

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will meet you for your drive to Tarangire National Park, home to many elephants and ancient baobab trees, which you will see during your 9-day wildebeest migration safari. You’ll eat lunch after checking into your national park lodge.

During your 9-day wildebeest migration safari in Tarangire, you will also go on an afternoon game drive. Animals you may see on a safari in the national park include zebras, wildebeest, impalas, elands, and lions, among others. Return to Lodge /Hotel/Camp for dinner and overnight after the game drive.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park game drives

On the third day of your 9-day wildebeest migration safari, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park, looking for wildlife and exploring the park’s attractions. After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will take you on a tour of the national park.

Lunch will be served when you return from your morning game drive. In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive where you can see wildlife such as zebras and elands. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp/Hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater.

Breakfast at your lodge before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, another stop on your 9-day wildebeest migration safari in Tanzania. Visit Ngorongoro crater and explore the world’s largest caldera. After check-in, lunch will be served at your lodge.

You will also see Lake Magadi in the Ngorongoro crater, which has a large number of flamingos on its shores. On a Tanzania safari, you can see hippos, elephants, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, waterbucks, zebras, antelopes, and many other wildlife species. Your guide will drive you to lodge/camp/hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your Ngorongoro conservation lodge, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park, where you will check in and prepare for your 9-day wildebeest migration safari.

The Serengeti National Park is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. During your game drive in the Serengeti National Park, you will see wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, elands, impalas, gazelles, and many more. You will eat and sleep at Camp/Lodge/Hotel.

Day 6–8: Wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive around the savannah plains of Serengeti National Park, admiring the large herds of wildebeest grazing. Predators like lions can be seen waiting to attack wildebeests near their grazing area.

You will drive around the Grumeti area, watching the wildebeests cross the river, crocodiles waiting. The wildebeest migration occurs in both the Serengeti and Masai Mara national reserves in Kenya. Some wildebeests drown in the river, while others survive. After this, you will be driven back to your Lodge/Hotel/Camp for dinner and overnight.

9th day: Departure

On the last day of your 9-day wildebeest safari in Serengeti National Park, you will start your day with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at the airport and your trip will come to an end.
